Rob Liou is a lead full-stack engineer, most recently working for a leading quantum computing company based in Beijing. He has over 4 years of programming and 8 years of data analysis/ product management experience. He was born and raised in California, but while at college at UCLA, had dreams of living and working in China after visiting the country in 2001. He went on to work for the Big 4 in San Francisco and then received his MBA from the University of Michigan, before moving to China to work in the upstream energy industry for both local and American companies for a number of years. He is now based back in the Bay Area with his wife and child. One of the highlights of his time in China is the bi-weekly men’s bible study he helped to start that has enriched his and the lives of the attendees greatly.
